A fantastic cottage in a great location which has something for everyone. This is our second visit to Hylands and I'm sure we'll be back again - it ticks all our boxes.

Great location and really peacefull, the cottage was perfect for myself my son and my parents. Wide selection of games, books, dvd's and videos and great information of the surrounding area. Would go back here in a minute and could have stayed for 2 weeks easily. Was a great last minute holiday and have no complaints.

Aviemore is a popular town and resort in Dumfriesshire, Scotland. It is situated in the Cairngorms National Park near to Carrbridge, Boat Of Garten, Kincraig, Nethy Bridge, Tomatin, and Kingussie.
Aviemore is very popular for lovers of winter sports especially skiing and snow boarding, and as such is an excellent venue for a winter break. There is also great hill walking here, which makes the area popular in the summer also. The town offers some excellent views of the surrounding mountains.
